Primary Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain client facing dashboards
  • Monitor log errors to differentiate between false alarms and legitimate issues that must be addressed
  • Develop strategies to reduce the rate of false alarms
  • Facilitate data fluency throughout the company by maintaining wiki’s about BI tools and maintaining a list of approved metric definitions, database views, and data warehouse uses
  • Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists to develop best practices and ensure a stable technology environment
  • Detect data quality issues, identify their root causes, develop fixes and design auditing to capture future data issues


Qualifications

  • 2+ years related work experience
  • A degree in a technology discipline with a proven history of understanding business, or a degree in a business related discipline with a proven history of building technology solutions
  • SQL, you are fluent and would feel confident as a teaching assistant in a SQL 101 course
  • Power BI, Periscope, Tableau, Looker, or similar data visualization tools (Preference for Power BI)
  • Certified in or experienced with at least one major digital ad platform (i.e., Google Ads, BingAds, Facebook)
  • Python or Ruby experience
  • Experience with various AWS, Google, or Azure cloud based data services
  • Experience with BI/DW system architecture and DW data modeling
  • Experience with Apache Airflow and dbt
  • Experience with Git, Unix terminal, REST APIs

Pay

Qualifications    

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related subject, or commensurate experience
  • 0-4 years industry experience 
  • Expertise in front end technologies including HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Ability to write clean, readable, and concise front end code
  • Experience with front end web development throughout the planning, design, and development lifecycle 
  • Experience with implementing web/mobile user interfaces
  • Familiarity with an Object-Oriented Language such as Ruby, Java, or Python
  • Familiarity developing web applications in an MVC architecture
  • Must include a portfolio that demonstrates relevant work completed

Pay

The following are targeted ranges. Final offer amounts will depend on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s prior relevant experience, and their knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Web Developer I: $80,000-100,000

Web Developer II: $100,000-125,000
